    Amy Poehler

    Amy Meredith Poehler is an American comedian, actress, producer, writer, and voice artist born on September 16, 1971. She graduated from Boston College in the year 1993. In 1996 she became part of the comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade which was later made into a television show. Poehler even founded the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in 1999. She was a cast member of Saturday Night Live and co anchored the Weekend Update. She is also an eight time Emmy Award nominee. Since has also starred in Parks and Recreation for which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series in 2014.
